As we all know, India is a traditional country.

People of many religions live in India and they all believe in their god.

Everyone has a different way of worshiping their God.

Even the place of worship is different and the name is also different.


So in this blog i will tell you about temples surrounded in the Dharamshala.

Temples have a very important role in our lives.

From the birth of a child till the death of a person are associated with temples.

India is one of the most religiously and ethnically diverse countries in the world, home to some of the most deeply religious societies and cultures. Religion plays a central and defining role in the lives of many of its people. Although India is a secular Hindu-majority country, it has a large Muslim population

There are many types of small and big temples in Dharamshala.

We will talk about some selected temples among them. I hope that you will definitely come to visit these temples. So let start with the Famous temples in Dharamshala-


Dalai Lama Temple, Mcleodganj.

This temple is known as "Namgyal monastery" or "Namgyal Tantric College".

This monastery is the personal monastery of the 14th Dalai Lama.



Aghanjar Mahadev Temple

This temple is famous Hindu temple in the the Dharamshala, where we can worship Lord Shiva very peacefully.


Indru Nag Temple

This one is an ancient temple which is built by the local villagers and this temple is dedicated to the snake king.

Guna mata Temple

This temple is dedicated to the Goddess Kali who is particularly worshipped in this region.



Kunal Pathri Devi Temple

The Kunal Pathri temple is a little Rock temple dedicated to the Goddess Durga Which is situated in the Dharamshala.


Bhagsu Nag Temple

This temple is a significant religious site dedicated to the Lord Shiva.


Masroor Rock cut Temple

This Temple is also known as Rock cut Temple. This temple is carved out of Monolithic rock with a Shikhara and provided with the scared pool of water as recommended by Hindu text on temple architecture.


Shri Chamunda Devi Temple

This temple is also known as Chamunda Nandikeshwar Dham. Temple is dedicated to theGoddess Durga.

Shri Aadi Himani Chamunda

Aadi Himani Chamunda is a Hindu temple which is dedicated to the Goddess Chamunda Devi this temple is situated in Chandar bhan, Jiya in Kangra valley.


Brijeshwari Temple

Shri brijeshwari Mata temple is also known as Kangra Devi Temple. This temple is one of the 51 Shakti Pithas dedicated to the Goddess Durga.


Jwalaji Temple

Jwala Ji temple is one of the 51 Shakti Pithas of India and this temple is one of the highly venerated it Shakti temples in India.

This is also believe that this temple was built by Pandavas.

Baijnath Temple

This temple is dedicated to Lord shiva.

Baijnath temple is Nagara style Hindu temple situated in the small town of district Kangra.
